Returns & refunds

Last updated: 31 October 2026

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA).

Changed your mind (cooling-off)

Under section 44 of ECTA you may cancel an online purchase without reason within 7 days of receiving the goods. Items must be unused, complete and in their original, undamaged packaging. You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. We will refund you within 30 days of receiving the return.

The cooling-off right does not apply to software, licence keys or digital products once the seal has been broken, the key has been revealed or the download has started, or to items made or configured to your specification.

Defective goods

Under section 56 of the CPA, goods are covered by an implied warranty of quality for six months from delivery. If an item is defective within that period, you may choose a repair, replacement or refund, unless the defect was caused by misuse, accident, power surges, liquid damage or unauthorised repair. Many products also carry a longer manufacturer warranty — see our Warranty page.

Dead on arrival (DOA)

If an item does not work on arrival, report it within 7 days and we will arrange collection and a replacement at no cost to you, subject to the supplier’s DOA verification.

How to return

  1. Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] with your order number, the item and the reason for the return.
  2. We will issue a Return Authorisation (RA) number and instructions. Returns without an RA number cannot be processed.
  3. Pack the item securely with all accessories, manuals and packaging.

Refunds

Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 30 days. Where a returned item is incomplete, damaged or shows signs of use, we may deduct a reasonable amount for the loss in value, as allowed by the CPA.
